Furniture collection
We collect unwanted furniture and domestic appliances directly from your home, giving good pieces a second life instead of sending them to landfill. Whether you are decluttering, moving house or simply upgrading, our team will arrange a convenient time and take care of the lifting. Items in good, usable condition are checked, cleaned and prepared for resale or reuse, supporting local households while keeping valuable materials in circulation. EnquireFurniture remanufacture & upcycling
Our workshop team gives tired or damaged furniture a new lease of life, repairing, reupholstering, repainting and rebuilding pieces that might otherwise be discarded. When extreme weather, flooding or another crisis disrupts a household or community, we provide practical, fast support: furniture, household goods, food parcels, medicine delivery and handyman assistance to help people get back on their feet. We work alongside local partners to reach people quickly and respond to what each situation genuinely needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all package. Our aim is always to restore a basic level of comfort and dignity as soon as possible. EnquireWaste collection
Working in partnership with Doncaster Council and SUEZ UK, we collect bulky household waste that cannot go out with the regular bin round, such as old furniture, appliances and other large items you need taking away. Wherever possible, we assess collected items for reuse first, so anything with useful life left rejoins our shops instead of going to landfill; only genuinely unusable materials are sent on for responsible recycling or disposal. It is a convenient, responsible way to clear bulky waste from your home while supporting the wider work we do across the borough.

The people who deliver everything else on this page (collecting, restoring, driving and serving) are at the heart of our charity, and their wellbeing matters to us as much as the services we provide to the wider community. How a collection works
Booking a furniture collection is simple, and every item we take goes on to serve someone else in Doncaster.

We collect, free of charge
Our friendly, uniformed team arrives in a Doncaster Refurnish van, ready to do the lifting and carrying. We take care to protect your home and belongings, and we are happy to collect from any accessible room. No fuss, and nothing left behind for you to deal with.
