Access for everyone
Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use the Doncaster Refurnish website, whatever their abilities or the technology they use.
Our commitment
We're committed to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across our customer-facing website. Accessibility is something we design and build in from the start, and keep checking as the site grows.
What we do to make this site accessible
- Use clear, plain British English and a logical heading structure.
- Make sure the site can be used with a keyboard alone, with visible focus.
- Provide text alternatives for images and label every form field.
- Aim for text and interface colours that meet AA contrast levels.
- Design layouts that reflow cleanly on small screens and when text is enlarged.
Known limitations
We're always improving. If you come across part of the site that's hard to use, we'd genuinely like to know so we can put it right.
Reporting a problem
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or you need information in a different format such as large print or plain text, please contact us and we'll do our best to help.
Email: info@refurnish.co.uk · Phone: 01302 337 606. We aim to respond within five working days.
Questions about any of this?
We're a local charity, not a call centre. If anything on this page is unclear, ask us and we'll explain it in plain terms.
