About cookies
Cookie policy
The small files our website uses to work properly: what they do, and how you stay in control.
How we use them
We keep this simple. We use only the cookies strictly necessary to run the site securely and to keep you signed in, plus a little functional storage in your browser for your basket and saved items. We do not use advertising, tracking or third-party analytics cookies.
To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not track you from site to site. It tells us how many people looked at which pages, not who they were.
Do we ask for consent?
Because we use only strictly necessary and functional cookies, and our visitor counting sets none, UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) does not require a consent banner, so we don't clutter the site with one. If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we'll ask for your consent first and give you a clear way to accept or decline.
Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use, we'll update this page and, where consent is needed, ask for it before setting anything new.
Questions about any of this?
We're a local charity, not a call centre. If anything on this page is unclear, ask us and we'll explain it in plain terms.
