Expressions
Give old furniture a creative new life
Expressions is the creative arm of Doncaster Refurnish. Through hands-on workshops, we take unwanted furniture and household goods and turn them into something new, inspiring creativity, confidence and self-expression in everyone who takes part.
- Hands-on
Upcycling & repair
Learn practical hand skills as you help restore real pieces of donated furniture: sanding, painting and simple repairs that give something tired a fresh look.
- All welcome
Creative craft
Explore paint, fabric and reclaimed materials in relaxed, creative sessions designed to build confidence and try something new, whatever your starting point.
- No experience needed
Community sessions
Drop in alongside other local people for a sociable, low-pressure session, a chance to make something, chat and be part of a friendly group.

Expressions is open to anyone in the local community who fancies getting creative, however much or little experience you have.
