The Coalfields Regeneration Trust is an independent grant making organisation that was established in 1999 to improve the quality of life in Britain’s Coalfield communities, it is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee governed by a board of trustees.
The aim of the trust is to make Coalfields sustainable, prosperous, viable and cohesive without support
Working closely with partners, the trust is a key agency promoting and achieving social and economic regeneration in the Coalfields of England, Scotland and Wales.
The trust award grants across the British Coalfields, so far they have awarded grants worth approx £150million through their grant making programme. The current funding programme runs from 1st April 2008 and will close on 31st March 2011.
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust has offices in all of the UK Coalfield areas. Each office has at least one programme manager and one programme support officer, application forms, advice and guidance to help you with your project and represent our ongoing.
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust receives funds its core activities from communities & local government, the national assembly for Wales, communities Scotland and a number of other Organisation & Agencies.
Success Doncaster is a programme run by Doncaster Council working collaboratively with the public, private, voluntary and community sector across the Borough.

The enterprise understands the difficulties that organisations can face in attempting to develop and grow. By providing tailored development finance, the enterprise continues on its mission to break down the barriers to accessing finance; enabling organisations to help people and communities to reach their full potential.
The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK program is designed to provide high-quality, practical support to the owners and leaders of established small businesses and social enterprises as they seek to grow. The program is delivered through a network of local partners who combine relevant academic expertise and extensive experience working with the owners and leaders of small businesses
The program brings together leaders of small businesses from across industry sectors and creates unique networking and peer learning opportunities. For those small business leaders selected to participate, the core of the program is a high quality, practically-focused business and management education, delivered over twelve sessions lasting approximately 100 hours.
The program has been designed specifically for this program by world-class international, national and local experts in entrepreneurial learning. During the course of the program every small business owner develops a customised Growth Plan to direct their organisation’s business strategy and expansion
